Highland OB/GYN Billing & Insurance

Our fees are within customary range for this area and reflect the level of care you will receive and the high level of training required to provide this care. Charges are made for office visits, surgery, procedures and laboratory tests. We have standardized fees for these services.

Fees for Obstetrical Care

The fees for obstetrical care include all routine obstetrical visits or care from your first visit through your prenatal care, delivery and your visit six weeks following delivery. The only extra charges would be for special laboratory tests and, if needed, Ultrasounds and non-stress tests as well as newborn circumcisions. If a cesarean birth is needed, an extra charge is made for surgery.

Accepted Insurance

Your insurance contract is an agreement between you and your insurance carrier. Highland OB/GYN Clinic accepts most major insurance carriers, including TRICARE, Medicare and NC Medicaid. As a service to you, we will file your claims with your insurance carrier. As required by insurance carriers, you are responsible for the payment of deductibles, co-payments and non-covered services at the time of your office visits. For your convenience we accept cash, check, VISA, Discover and Master Card for payment.

Separate Bills & Fees

You will receive separate bills from all providers of services, including laboratory, x-ray, pathology, anesthesia and the hospital. Highland OB/GYN charges a fee for the completion of medical forms, such as medical disability, insurance underwriting applications and life insurance applications.
